Sad news to share that "The Details" appears to have run into some challenges and has temporarily shut down.

"The production of THE DETAILS is currently on hold due to unforeseen circumstances. We look forward to resuming business in Seattle shortly as this community is the perfect home for the movie."

Rumors have been flying around that James will be starring in the upcoming dark comedy film "The Details" with Elizabeth Banks and Laura Linney. The film is scheduled to start shooting this month in Seattle, Washington and run until the end of July.

The synopsis for the film sounds quite interesting:

A suburban husband finds his life spiraling out of control due to extramarital temptation, a crazy cat lady, a wannabe gangster, and a band of raccoons hellbent on destroying the only thing that matters in his life: the perfect backyard lawn.

This should be quite a different setting for James, coming off of "Three Days of Rain" and we're looking forward to seeing him flex his comedic skills. You can download an early version of the script here.

The Guardian recently put online a fantastic interview where James shares his greatest achievement, his greatest fear and what his super power would be.

James McAvoy, 30, was born in Glasgow and studied at the Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. In 2004 he was cast in the Bafta-winning Channel 4 series Shameless, and has sinced starred in several successful films, including The Chronicles Of Narnia, The Last King Of Scotland and Atonement. He is currently on stage in Three Days Of Rain at the Apollo Theatre, London. He is married to the actor Anne-Marie Duff.
